Concerning the Cultivation of Human Resources
We work intensively on employee training as per the following, having established various programs based on the Sun Frontier Philosophy, that takes the cultivation of human resources for the benefit of society as the basis for business development and the first step towards contributing to society. The following are some examples.
General Outline of Training Programs
1. Philosophical Training |
What is the purpose of life? What is the value of work? We clarify the purpose and significance of life on a step-by-step basis from the moment one joins the company. This is founded on the notion that human resources beneficial to society cannot be nurtured without first establishing one's direction or purpose. Such training is under the personal instruction of the president. |
2.¥100,000 Annually for Training Aid System |
This system assists employees to undertake training (i.e. SMBC Consulting, Nikkei BP, Waseda University's Open College, and TAC for qualifications) in their own areas of interest under their own initiative, including during working hours, in order to improve our operational standards. |
3. Basic Business Training |
Training to cultivate the genial and positive human characteristics defined as basic business attitude, exemplified by "justice" and "politeness," including manners, call handling, and business etiquette. This is implemented in the office with guest instructors mainly from Kyocera Communication. |
4. Specialist Application Course |
It is business training including specialist application skills, presentations and negotiation skills, or perfectly timed conversation skills with customers. Top-level guest instructors mainly invited from Waseda Open College. |
5. State-of-the-Art Education |
Typically, this involves being sent on a 6-month course at Ark Toshijuku (urban academy) on the 49th floor of Roppongi Hills. Future admission to graduate school is also considered in order to emphasize specialty. |
6. Overseas Inspection Training |
Inspection trips to New York or Shanghai are provided with the aim of expanding one's perspective, with delimiter points at three, five and ten years after joining the company, or depending on one's position. |
