When the essence of a good imitation crystallizes it becomes real. It is easier not to learn a bad habit than to correct it later.
I hear many of our business partners say that our young employees work freely and actively and that Sun Frontier is like a school or factory for personal development. I feel so grateful when I heard these sorts of things that I want to try even harder. I believe that our specialist activities in the real estate industry are very creditable socially in this diverse world of 6.6 billon people. I believe the Company offers the best environment for people wanting to enhance their knowledge, skills, and personalities so they can be useful to others and society. Such people want to contribute through the power of a large organization by harnessing their potential, helping other people to become useful to society. I believe we offer a refreshing daily environment of joy, gratitude, laughter, and rejoicing for people with awakened spirits and spiritual underpinnings for their aspirations. I hear many employees say that they cannot get enough of work. They are meeting new challenges and putting ideas into practice to live the right way through their work. It makes me truly happy. I feel like I am watching a stage performance every day in which groups of people dance to improve human qualities.
Today's topic is about avoiding bad habits from the outset. I'd like to talk about why it is important to maintain good life values and practice good imitation. This is because when the essence of a good imitation crystallizes it becomes real. It is also easier to avoid a bad habit than correct it afterwards. It is important for a person to live by acquiring good habits, as they become secondary nature. A good behavioral imitation is behavior that makes people happy and being useful to society. When I reflect on the Company's growth to date and project our corporate potential I consistently focused on altruism as the backbone of management. It is about being useful to fellow employees and being 10-fold more useful to customers. Based on this perspective, we have identified and rooted out bad behavior and attitudes within the Company. We have kept looking for improvements and practices that collectively and actively strive to absorb good things even if through imitation.
The priorities are to 1) acquire good habits, 2) maintain these habits, 3) try not to acquire bad habit, and 4) eliminate bad habits. My philosophy pocket-diary says that 99% of life is imitation. It adds that if you look back honestly on your life, you will realize that everything was about imitating others.
But the crucial point is whether you choose to imitate good or bad behavior. At Sun Frontier, we have tried to imitate everything good, but never imitate anything bad even as a joke or pretense. Good behavior is being useful to others and fostering harmony and development. On that note, I may sound like I am talking down to you, but some young people tend to imitate bad behavior because of pointless defiance. Over time, bad behavior becomes habitual and second nature. Such people will suffer from those bad habits without knowing the truth in life or understanding confused lifestyles. Their lifestyles are a downward spiral. If you lack self-esteem or get off on the wrong foot with minor problems you will find yourself habitually escaping from poor incidences or work that exposes your incompetence. The minds of such people are preoccupied with escape from all situations. Such people are full of excuses and self-denial and cannot see the nine good things. They cannot demonstrate their great features because of their bad habits and are filled with discontent and dissatisfaction. There is no value in such a lifestyle. The priority is to live on good imitations alone and to acquire only good habits. At Sun Frontier, we may be slow-witted and overly serious. But we are a group that understands that imitating bad habits is barren. We value a spiritual state in which we can all demonstrate our quality selves by using good sense to control instinctive and emotional behavior that is ugly. We reach this state of transmitting our quality selves in such times like making active contributions at work, remaining clear-headed and in good physical condition, and opening new paths through self motivation and a clear objective. Those who can constantly create their own upward vortex to consciously live in this world with a conviction of being useful for the world are great people who can create happiness for others. Rationally high-quality habits can ensure comfortable self-correction in the pursuit of righteousness. Still, people tend to habitually prioritize instincts or emotions when they are down, such as by being careless or facing complaints and difficulties.
One typical collective good habit that you will not find in any other company is our cross-sectional committees. Under the banner of doing good, all our employees have stood up for making the Company better. We are creating a bright, future-oriented organizational culture while adjusting systems and structures and practicing good behavior even when nobody is looking, going beyond horizontal operational structures. We should never lose our management attitude of setting goals and accumulating collective wisdom beyond our organization.
Ideally, we all want to be decent. We want to enlighten ourselves and improve ourselves through truth and be truly useful to others and society. Living single-mindedly with a dedication to imitating good behavior is a very important idea and behavioral model for living a wonderful life that society needs.
If you have just joined the Company, you might feel that you have not reached this level and may not be able to. Such negativity is not what I am talking about. A courage is important for you to speak out, imagining that you have already reached the right level as a Sun Frontier employee and positively influencing others by being dignified in doing good things for others. You should use your own will to implant positive values in yourself. You should have the conviction to say that there is no harm in conveying only good things and that you will only do good things for others. You should shout 100 times that "I can do it, I can definitely do it, and I will absolutely do it" to make yourself believe. Your entire being will definitely change.
Now what is bad behavior? The worst is actions that trouble others. Not keeping promises, being late for appointments, not keeping due date, lying, not correct your mistakes, not apologizing, and entrapping others through trickery-these all directly trouble others. If scattered around in regular work behavior and one's life, they are easily correctable. These behaviors are habits that cannot be excused among employees because they reflect irresponsive malice deep in one's heart. We can see the true colors of a human with animal instincts and without education in attitudes and lifestyles of people working in organizations that completely neglect spiritual educations and cannot teach discipline. Evil habits definitely exist in companies that are unprofitable or do not grow and in companies frequently at the center of scandals. I am sure that such companies are filled with selfishness, caring only about their own profits, lacking consideration for others and for harmony. In such companies, sectionalism spreads and discontentment, dissatisfaction, complaints, anger, and self-assertion rule corporate life. The causes are a lack of a corporate mission and ideologies that form the philosophies for these corporations. Such corporate attitudes spread among employees and create evil habits. This is a difference in the way of thinking that perhaps has cause many of you to avoid in conversation with friends outside the Company.
In addition, bad thinking and habits can often transfer to others. Typical examples are the three poisons of human beings that are contrary to the Company's three big principles. These bad qualities are complaining, anger, and greed. Such attitudes include selfishness, laziness, looking backward, discontentment and dissatisfaction, greed, anger, arrogance, dismal outlooks, insincerity, negativity, pessimism, and uncooperativeness.
The key is whether or not your spiritual state of mind is sound. How grand it is in life to correct bad habits by implanting good habits instead! Consider this example. There is a person who is quite selfish from upbringing, but not from birth. Such a person could seem bold but actually be quite timid. Therefore, such person becomes very self-assertive to hide that timidity and be good at promotion. Generally speaking, such a person is a salesperson. But such a person's sales performance will not grow very much. The reason is that the person is using his or her energies for the wrong reasons. When especially focusing on things that are based on what you think, one can witnesses exactly the reverse results depending on whether habits are unselfish or selfish. You should always thank others and return kindness even a little, as how you live are due to the work of others. Such a way of thinking provides the greatest impact on power and development in one's life and at a corporation. It is plain as day to see a great worker who abounds in humanity. I keenly feel that we only develop this by practicing the big three principles and refraining from the three poisons. In a life of absolute positivism that values unselfish and unbeatable efforts, keeping a firmly positive mindset is crucial for a complete that avoids ups and downs.
Learn relentlessly and generate results in your work that can be most useful to others. The destination of such a life's uninterrupted and serious efforts is the realization that good imitation will become the truth when the essence crystallizes. That is a world of absolute truth.
