Sun Frontier’s Environmental Energy Business

Three Business Strategies Centered on “Urban Periphery,” “Commercial Facilities,” and “Rooftop Installations”

We deploy three business strategies focusing on urban periphery locations, commercial facilities, and rooftop installations. Beyond simply installing equipment, we act as a long-term partner that supports corporate value enhancement over the medium to long term. By combining technical expertise, proposal capabilities, subsidy utilization, and operational support, we strongly promote decarbonization management. Striving to balance environmental considerations with profitability, we use the power of energy to nurture cities and society, building a sustainable foundation that we can proudly pass on to the future.

[1] Rooftop Solar EPC (Engineering / Procurement / Construction)
We promote the installation of solar power generation systems that utilize the rooftop spaces of hotels and office buildings. For example, at Tabi no Hotel Kashima, we installed solar modules and storage batteries, enabling approximately 15% of the hotel’s annual electricity consumption to be covered by renewable energy. This initiative also contributes to peak-cutting of electricity demand and securing power during emergencies.
[2] PPA Model (Power Purchase Agreement)
By utilizing the PPA model—which enables the introduction of renewable energy without upfront investment—we support companies in simultaneously advancing decarbonization and reducing electricity costs.
[3] Subsidy Utilization Support (100% approval rate for industrial equipment installation subsidies in Tokyo and Kanagawa)
We boast a 100% approval rate for industrial equipment installation subsidies offered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Kanagawa Prefecture, and have established a comprehensive support system that covers everything from application to installation.
