The Founder’s Vision
Through continually asking the question,
“What is the purpose of life?”,
we came to this conclusion:
That life’s purpose is to devote ourselves to
helping as many people as we can
over the course of our lives.
My motto is: "Are my motives pure, and is there no selfishness in my heart?"
This phrase serves as a guiding principle for making sound decisions in every situation that arises. I have a strong desire to lead a life of integrity. To achieve this, I believe it is essential to prioritize the benefit of others over personal gain and to continually contribute to society. The essence of this saying is to always ask oneself, "Are my motives rooted in goodwill as a human being?" and further, to examine whether decisions are driven by a desire for personal gain or fame. Only when one’s heart is free of selfishness and ulterior motives can true success be achieved.
After completing the foundational phase of my education, I believe the true significance of life is found in how we live and conduct business during the growth and application stages. Through this, we can contribute to the betterment of people and society—our reason for being in this world—and as a result, we are uplifted through the support of others, leading to our own happiness and success. I firmly believe that a fulfilling life and family are built upon a way of living rooted in the conviction to contribute to society. I value every encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, nurturing each connection into a meaningful relationship. "Management is about people," and I have remained committed to how much I can personally value and respect others.
When I founded the company at the age of 31, I had no money, no connections, and lacked knowledge and experience. The only things I could rely on were the words of encouragement from my former boss who once said, “You are a one-in-ten-thousand talent!” and the phrase spoken to me by my middle school teacher, “Effort never betrays.” These words became guiding principles, and I held onto them with unwavering belief. I set out to pursue my dreams and became independent, but with the collapse of the economic bubble, the following six years were full of ups and downs. I spent those days deeply pondering the question, “What is the purpose of life?”
In a desperate search for meaning, I attended thirteen different study groups, volunteer organizations, and cross-industry gatherings, but no clear answers emerged. Then, at the age of 37, through a classmate from a public speaking course, I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Kazuo Inamori, the honorary chairman of Kyocera and founder of KDDI. This encounter became a turning point in my life. The saying, “One great mentor is worth more than a thousand books,” proved true in my experience.
From Mr. Inamori, I learned an altruistic way of living filled with human compassion. He awakened me to the principle that management is fundamentally about "protecting employees." He also imparted a powerful and unexpected truth: "It is the purity of the heart that enables one to achieve great things." Rather than pursuing profit, he taught me to seek to benefit people and society with a sincere and pure heart, and that the resulting profit is a measure of how helpful we have been. The notion that “a company cannot grow beyond the capacity of its leader,” a belief shared by great business leaders like Konosuke Matsushita, resonated deeply with my own aspirations to live sincerely and rightly. His philosophy permeated my soul like water absorbed by hot summer sand.
Since then, I have focused solely on the one area I can control: improving my own mindset. For over ten years, I have devoted myself to a path of cultivating a heart centered on compassion and righteousness, consistently acting with the intention of bringing joy to others. Though I was a late bloomer—coming to this realization at age 37—I immersed myself in work with single-minded focus, building a practical philosophy through hands-on experience. Facing and studying challenges in my duties helped me realize my own immaturity, which in turn allowed me to continuously improve. Through efforts to develop my character and acquire practical knowledge in real estate, I’ve been blessed to meet many clients and share in their joy. I am genuinely grateful and humbled that people have placed their trust in someone like me, who started with nothing. I consider the true founding of my company to have begun at age 37, when I met Mr. Inamori. The principle of "cause and effect" reinforced for me the importance of having "righteous aspirations." Nothing can be realized if it does not first exist in one’s heart. I earnestly believe that the current state of our company is the result of our clients having nurtured and supported us, born from our sincere desire to serve them.
Driven by the desire to turn every encounter into something significant, I actively seek like-minded individuals without bias toward age, educational background, or experience. This is rooted in a desire to ask, “How should we live as human beings?” and to share a universal life philosophy. I want to spend my life surrounded by relationships built on heartfelt connection. I believe the purpose of life is this: “How many people can I be of service to throughout my life?”
I wonder if you’ve ever reflected on this as well. I simply want to live as someone who is needed by others. And because we spend most of our lives working, I hope to creatively fulfill that purpose—being of service to others—through our core business. A life guided by a clear purpose leads to fewer worries and stronger effort. Don’t you think that work becomes more fulfilling and rewarding this way? While material happiness, such as money, is important, I value even more the richness of the heart, a sense of fulfillment, purpose, dreams, and above all, aspirations.
Our company aims to be one that brings deep satisfaction to our clients, as shown by our 70% repeat rate. The pride that comes from being supported by society and doing good work is truly irreplaceable. We seek to contribute to society through our work. Our company is managed with the vision that the time employees spend working should be a fulfilling part of their lives—a place for self-realization. Sun Frontier is a company where this vision can be achieved.
As the founder, allow me to introduce our company. We are a new kind of real estate company that treasures philosophy and specializes in both “craftsmanship” and expert services. True to the idea that “management is about people,” we place people at the heart of our business and believe in each individual’s infinite potential. We dedicate time, resources, and heartfelt effort to nurturing human talent. We emphasize teamwork over individualism and operate as a vibrant, family-like company grounded in the compassion of our employees. While valuing courtesy, we entrust responsibilities to young employees and foster a culture of open, creative execution. Our vertically and horizontally open organization encourages people to take on challenges and pursue bold goals, turning “nothing” into “something.” We offer a comprehensive real estate business environment that allows employees to gain diverse experiences across multiple fields.
Let me briefly explain the philosophy and values we hold dear. Our core management principle, “Altruism,” was born from the desire to prioritize the happiness of colleagues and clients over our own and to live with such a beautiful heart. Our management philosophy is to “protect all employees, pursue both material and spiritual happiness, and contribute to the prosperity of humanity and society with a spirit of coexistence.” This belief took shape when we had only three employees, driven by a heartfelt desire to protect our team. It represents our deep commitment to valuing our colleagues and clients by contributing tenfold to them. We believe that this will ultimately bring happiness to our employees—not just material wealth, such as compensation or benefits, but spiritual richness, where the joy of others becomes our own joy. By turning our sense of happiness into gratitude, striving even harder, and seeking to evolve alongside all living beings on Earth, we aim to contribute to the progress and development of human society through our work.
Within our company, there are three guiding principles that employees strive to uphold: “Altruism over Selfishness,” “Upholding What is Right,” and “Absolute Positivity.” These principles clarify the direction we pursue as a group. We place great importance on prioritizing altruism over self-interest, doing what is right rather than what is merely efficient, and always acting proactively rather than passively. With over 1,000 employees aligned under these principles, we operate freely and energetically with a unified sense of purpose, not worrying about minor deviations. The strength of this organization becomes especially clear when we reflect on our accomplishments. We strive to pursue “what is right as a human being” and to carry out “beautiful work.”
True freedom is not about acting selfishly, but about thinking from a broader perspective—one that considers the greater good of society. We aim to create a company where every employee’s way of life is rooted in the full expression of their creativity and abilities.
Our corporate philosophy is to “contribute to the progress and development of human society while minimizing the waste of the Earth’s resources.” We place a strong emphasis on both timeless values and responsiveness to the current era. To fulfill this role, we focus not on development, but on revitalizing, utilizing, and distributing existing real estate stock. As a future-oriented company, we are committed to contributing to society in harmony with the environment.
Lastly, at the core of all our corporate activities is the belief that “human resource development is management.” We prioritize character—sincerity, humility, and ambition—over mere knowledge when hiring talent. Rather than hiring highly experienced but individualistic mid-career professionals, we prefer to hire individuals who align with our philosophy—those who are sincere, hard-working, and committed to doing what is right. We focus on hiring mostly fresh graduates, investing time in education and on-the-job training to nurture their character, broaden their awareness, and develop them into highly capable professionals. Many of our employees—regardless of their academic background—have a deep interest in fields such as psychology, philosophy, human studies, or Japanese history.
We maintain a clear policy that emphasizes the importance of field experience, boldly delegating authority to young employees and fostering growth through hands-on work. We encourage autonomy, independence, and self-awareness, and support each individual’s motivation while guiding them toward fulfilling their responsibilities. Of course, we provide a solid support system through experienced supervisors and specialists.
Our corporate culture is one of daily creativity. We embody the spirit of “Don’t make today the same as yesterday, seek what’s invisible, and challenge yourself creatively.” We actively explore adjacent business opportunities and foster new ventures. Through business expansion and diversification, we develop self-driven leaders who are profit-conscious, possess specialized knowledge, and have strong management skills. We believe that companies must pursue added value as a team rather than as individuals, and that nurturing open-minded, knowledgeable, and compassionate “human resources” is essential for long-term success.
