Respecting Employee Rights and Preventing Overwork

The Group recognizes the creation of a workplace where diverse talent can perform with confidence as a key management priority, and we are committed to continuous improvement in promoting respect for human rights and maintaining and enhancing a supportive work environment.

We respect employee rights through measures such as electing employee representatives by majority vote and concluding Article 36 labor-management agreements in accordance with the Labor Standards Act.

In addition, employees whose monthly working hours exceed a certain threshold are required to complete a self-check questionnaire and undergo an interview with an occupational physician, as part of our efforts to prevent overwork. The actual state of working hours and compliance with relevant laws and regulations are monitored and reported on a monthly basis at the Risk Management Committee.

Taking into account the fundamental labor standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Group strives to respect employee rights and ensure appropriate working conditions. We have also established a consultation desk where employees can seek advice with confidence, providing a system for receiving inquiries and feedback regarding the workplace environment and working conditions.

Furthermore, we are advancing initiatives informed by the concept of human rights due diligence, including efforts to identify and appropriately address human rights-related risks.
