- A Licensed Nursery School Building
Ningyocho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo a licensed nursery school building
Changing the use from a tenant building to a licensed nursery school.
Renovations that contribute to social good through real estate.
In the rapidly developing Nihonbashi area, we are taking on a project that leverages the unique characteristics of the region to meet societal needs. This renovation involves converting a building, originally used as an office, into a daycare center. Through this effort, we are contributing, albeit modestly, to supporting women’s return to the workforce and reducing the number of children on waiting lists for daycare.

- Theme
-
Utilization of a disadvantageously located office building with 4-meter wide roads on both sides.
- Solution
-
By viewing the low traffic volume as a benefit that ensures the safety of children, we converted the entire building into a licensed daycare center.
A renovation proposal that meets the requirements for a daycare center, including making the entrance barrier-free.
