- A Mixed-Use Facility Building
Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo A single-building revenue-generating complex.
By revitalizing and connecting to the promenade along the canal, we are creating a relaxing space where people can connect with the waterfront.
We revitalized a 40-year-old building located in Shibaura, Minato-ku, into a mixed-use facility comprising residences, offices, and restaurants. This project, undertaken in collaboration with industry, government, academia, and local residents, leverages the canal—a symbol of the Shibaura area—as a stepping stone to enhance regional value. The renovation, aimed at creating a bustling hub along the canal, has realized an attractive waterfront and canal landscape. This project was awarded the “Encouragement Prize for Landscape and Town Development” by Minato Ward in fiscal year 2018.
